What you'll do...

The Director, End to End Enablement Communications is an action-oriented, results-driven leader responsible for leading a team of senior communications managers as they develop and execute operational communication for our facilities across the United States. The ideal candidate multi-tasks and moves at the speed of our operations, while being accurate and thorough. We’re looking for a big-picture thinker with exceptional attention to detail who keeps our field operators in mind as the audience, ensures accuracy, simplifies operational messaging, keeps projects on schedule and helps identify and navigate potential risks. As a member of the Corporate Communications team, you will directly support the Walmart U.S. business with a front-row seat to how they run their businesses by delivering accurate, timely communication to field leaders, enabling them to run their businesses every day.


What you'll do:

  • Serve as a counselor to key business partners across the organization with the ability to achieve results related to communication strategies and time and action plans.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for external communication engagement with key media partners.
  • Counsel the business on external speaking engagements, social media strategies and external-facing messaging.
  • Develop impactful messages that are concise and actionable to our facilities across the United States.
  • Make complex subjects easily understood through words and visuals while keeping the audience in mind.
  • Build strong relationships with partners across the business.
  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate plans and initiatives.
  • Edit messages and ensure consistency and accuracy while timelines are met.
  • Connect dots, identify and mitigate risk, embrace technology and think on your feet every day while prioritizing projects, removing roadblocks and multi-tasking.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications.
  • Proven track record of developing and leading impactful communications strategies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with experience working cross-functionally to achieve business priorities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Gracefulness under pressure and deadlines; must be able to manage multiple projects at once.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
