The Walmart US eCommerce cross border inbound team builds products that allow Marketplace Sellers increase selection by offering fast, reliable, and affordable shipping options from overseas factories to the Walmart Fulfillment network.  We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to own the Global Inbound program’s Data Analytics function in a fast-paced, newly launched, cross border inbound logistics service.  The Senior Manager will create business insights and enable data-driven insights and decision-making to enable the team to deliver B2B transportation and compliance products our Sellers will love. The Senior Manager will leverage professional expertise and data competency to build and execute a strategy for metrics and reporting, while driving business priorities based on data insights generated.  This individual must assess global risks, drive mitigation and stakeholder actions, and develop single source of truth mechanisms to measure and improve Seller experience and B2B transportation performance at scale.  This individual will work cross-functionally with business, product, engineering, and central analytics (including data science and data engineering) to deliver a best-in-class experience for our Sellers.

  • Thinking Big – You understand market trends and how to identify what Sellers want and how they behave using data.  You anticipate your customers’ expectations and exceed them.
  • Moving fast – Work in an agile and iterative team environment.
  • Delivering data-driven results – Work with partner teams cross-functionally within Walmart to identify and implement data solutions that result in impactful business decisions.
  • Driving effective change management – Standardize and lead change management focusing on data vs. anecdotal evidence.
  • Communicating change and progress – Create and consolidate communications for internal and external audiences in your space.
  • Managing Issues – Drive resolution of key issues, escalations, and projects. 
  • Working cross-functionally and across multiple locations – Communication, collaboration, and organization are key to your success. You will provide leadership for cross-function teams to deliver across business, product, tech, support, and operational organizations.

Minimum Qualifications...

  • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, statistics, supply chain, computer science, or related area and 5 years’ experience in project management, supply chain management, data management, or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience with SQL (writing complex queries), MS Excel, Tableau, Looker, and Qlik Sense dashboard development, or other data analytics and visualization tools
  • 5 years’ experience driving success in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications...

  • Master’s degree in business administration, economics, statistics, supply chain, computer science, or related area
  • 10 years’ experience delivering customer-centric data analytics and insights.
