What you'll do...

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in Forecasting, AI/ML predictive models, simulation and MLOPS, as well as a deep understanding of data analytics and statistics. You will be responsible for analyzing large data sets, developing predictive and simulation models, and implementing data-driven solutions to optimize our supply chain operations.

Sam's Club provides a carefully curated assortment of items, as well as developing and leading technologies and services such as Scan & Go, Club Pickup, and home delivery service in select markets. Sam's Club also provides travel, auto purchasing, pharmacy, optical, hearing aid centers, tire and battery centers, and a portfolio of business operations support services.

What you'll do:

• Develop data science models for retail & e-commerce.
• Develop predictive models to forecast demand, inventory levels, and lead times.
• Implement data-driven solutions to optimize supply chain operations, including automation and optimization algorithms
• Utilize simulation tools to model supply chain scenarios and evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Create opportunities to develop yourself with end-to-end AI/ML product experience .
• Develop and implement MLOPS capabilities to continually improve and refine models and algorithms.

What you'll bring:

• Experience in Data science, machine learning, optimization models, PhD/Masters in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Simulation, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics
• Experience in Python, Spark, Scala, or R, using open-source frameworks (for example, scikit learn, TensorFlow, Pytorch)
• Excellent understanding of AI/ML/DL and Statistics, as well as coding proficiency using related open-source libraries and frameworks
• Significant proficiency in SQL and languages like Python, PySpark and/or Scala

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...
