Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance to work cross-functionally supporting world-class technologists delivering innovative solutions for our Walmart U.S. Segment.  Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Tech Finance, you’ll be a key partner in driving critical strategic finance projects and initiatives supporting our U.S. Omni Platforms and Tech organization and segment business partners. You’ll partner with cross functional leaders across the U.S. Omni Platforms and Tech organization and the Global Tech Finance team on all finance deliverables for this key business area.  If you love making impacts at massive scale, this is the role for you.

You’ll make an impact by:

Being a Trusted Advisor – Develop strong and trusting relationships with internal teams both in the US and across markets.  Serve as the go-to for finance transformation, working across the organization to address pain points and implementing solutions.

Talent and Leadership – Operate with excellence in driving the company strategy forward, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.

 

Adapting Quickly – Fast and accurate assessment of new challenges, new business relationships, and changing situations in a dynamic and rapidly developing environment.

 

Problem Solving – Identifying root cause of issues and designing and implementing solutions that provide process enhancements and effective controls to minimize risk.

 

Minimum Qualifications...

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
• 1+ years’ experience supporting cross-functional teams and/or projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & Analytics (FP&A), Business Intelligence, or a related area.
• 1+ years’ experience in senior leadership decision support and influencing.
• 1+ years’ experience using Microsoft Excel and/or PowerBI
• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency.
• Ability to analyze data and interpret results.
• Experience in a large corporate environment, agency, or headquarters, working in a matrixed organization.
