You’ll deliver customer-centric solutions for some of our most strategic operating frameworks.
As part of the Transaction Systems organization PMO, this role will be a crucial enabler for end-to-end delivery of programs spanning cross-functional and geographic boundaries. We are looking for a delivery-obsessed collaborator, an individual contributor who will work alongside talented Engineering teams to deliver the best value for our customers. About Team: Walmart’s Payment & Fraud group
Our team creates reusable technologies to help with customer acquisition, onboarding, and empowering merchants, while ensuring a seamless experience for both of these stakeholders. We also optimize tariffs and assortment in accordance with Walmart's Everyday Low Cost philosophy. We not only create affordability, but we also deliver customized experiences for customers across all channels - in-store, mobile app, and websites. This role will own programs that involve Marketplace initiatives and will span Payments, Tax and Fraud verticals. Walmart’s Payment group is responsible for enabling the core services and systems that support customers’ ability to pay for merchandise whether in stores & clubs or in the eCommerce environment, and to provide a frictionless, bullet-proof payment experience for customers. We are looking for a talented individual who can use their engineering, software architectural and leadership skills to help our teams solve complex problems. As the Staff Technical Program Manager, you will be required to influence, collaborate, set direction, mentor and be a servant leader to multiple teams participating and contributing in the transformation of our products and platforms in the payment and settlement area. You’ll also assist in driving the transformation of the payment space with peers to unite the physical retail and online payment and settlement/reconciliation systems. We are looking for a delivery-obsessed collaborator, an individual contributor who will work alongside talented Engineering teams to deliver the best value for our customers. This could involve world class cross-platform Fraud platforms, building and enhancing Walmart rewards experience etc. You will use your technical skills to understand the end-to-end fraud system, including software capabilities, ML detection, operational processes, fraud policies and the dependencies across teams that the fraud system creates. You will use that knowledge to plan and execute complex fraud programs with multiple stakeholders.

What you'll do:
·Manage multiple highly complex projects (for example, system integrations) or a large complex global eCommerce program by driving projects through the lifecycle phases to successful completion as defined in project's charter; serving as the program lead for multiple projects; developing and maintaining a project schedule to track milestones; developing and executing plans for managing risk; escalating project-related issues to management in accordance with project guidelines and requirements; managing project change control processes; coordinating production issue resolution; interpreting data to help guide teams towards issue resolution and risk management; making recommendations regarding solutions to problems or issues; and presenting project status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
·Lead the development of eCommerce projects and programs by collaborating with subject matter experts to develop project scope; forecasting projected expenses; developing and managing project or program budget; establishing metrics to ensure adherence to established expectations; developing capital & resource plans; developing project timelines and deliverables; ensuring successful delivery; and providing feedback regarding project success.
·Manage geographically distributed teams, offshore development teams and third-party vendors (for example, software vendors, hardware vendors, content providers etc.) by coordinating internal and vendor schedules & priorities; integrating teams and vendors into project strategy; communicating project status; evaluating system capabilities and ensuring sustainable functionality; ensuring delivery of proper functionality; and managing communications from vendors to internal stakeholders.
·Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
