Are you an adaptable problem solver with strong strategic and analytic skills looking to learn and deliver in the Health and Wellness (H&W) Sector? If so, this is your opportunity to bring your curiosity and drive into the workplace as a 2024 Walmart Health and Wellness Intern! We are looking for bold, innovative, and passionate interns to work with our diverse Health and Wellness teams.
Our Clinical Operations Team supports many clinical programs that impact patients and communities including: immunizations, testing, pharmacist prescribing, medication therapy management, training and specialty pharmacy programs.
The Internship: Held over an 11-week period during the summer of 2024 for students in their penultimate year of college. The paid internship will prepare associates for a career in Health & Wellness industry. Work on a meaningful project, network with industry experts, and develop your skills at the Fortune 1 as you explore Northwest Arkansas at our HQ!
During the internship, participants will:
Gain an understanding of the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of Walmart H&W
Deliver clinical programs that impact communities and patients across the nation.
Learn about different markets and segments in which Walmart Health and Wellness operates.
Analyze market and functional business strategies and results.
Manage key milestones and deliverables related to their assigned internship project.
Deliver solutions to complex business problems.
Utilize data to support informed decision-making.
Conduct internal and external research/benchmarking as appropriate.
Partner with other associates across teams/functions to identify solutions and present recommendations.
Build their network of professionals across the Segment and receive direct exposure to high-level Health and Wellness leaders.
Receive support and guidance from a host of individuals including mentors and a dedicated Program Manager

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program currently
Expected graduation date between December 2024-August 2025
