What you'll do...

As a Senior Software Engineer you will demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, improvement, and release of the Walmart Business iOS App. You will participates in peer code reviews and contribute effectively within an agile setup with designers, product managers, and peer developers. You will also provide and support the implementation of business solutions.

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.

What you'll do:

• Designing and delivering code that's readable, maintainable, testable, scalable, reusable, and efficient
• Working in an Agile team with engineers, designers, and product managers to solve problems as part of a team
• Thinking from the customer's perspective to recommend design improvements
• Collaborating with backend teams to design effective and understandable APIs
• Following established architecture patterns and suggesting improvements
• Implementing new features according to specifications
• Investigating and fixing bugs
• Building unit and UI tests
• Learning and implementing the latest technologies
• Mentoring fellow engineers
• Participating in on-call rotations (daytime hours) to help our Support team solve problems for customers
   

What you'll bring:

• Experience with mobile software development using Swift & Objective-C.
• Experience using distributed source code version control systems (Git/Github)
• Experience working within an agile development team.
• Experience with Apple SDKs for iOS development Experience with software debugging techniques (debuggers, loggers, crash report tools)
• Experience with analysis of memory issues such as memory leaks using memory analyzers tools (Instruments)
• Experience with embedded real time systems with limited resources (memory and processing)
• Experience with command line XCode build tools for Continuous Integration
• Experience in design patterns, MVVM, VIPER, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in unit and integration testing Swift code.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock equity incentives
