Position Summary...
What you'll do...
The team you’ll get to join:
On the Driver Experience team, we’re focused on creating an intuitive gig-driver experience that just works. One that is built through the lens of agent success which fosters trust and transparency, nurtures driver retention, and enables a differentiated support experience – empowering us to become a low-cost delivery partner and platform of choice for gig-drivers everywhere.
The Driver experience team views optimizable contact rate as a defect and is focused on reduction of contact rate as our primary OKR. We do so by holistically analyzing the experience across every phase of the driver journey and collaborating with product and engineering to enhance existing platform experiences, reduce high-friction pain points, and eliminating working as designed defects.
In a lot of ways, we function like a startup, meaning you’ll leverage cross functional leadership, a collaborative mindset (understanding the impact your suggestions have on other teams’ goals and OKRs), and a full range of product thinking and customer experience/operational strategist skills across all organizations.
Where you’ll help:
As an Instructional Designer you will focus on creating and continuously improving upon driver learning resource content by using an array of creative approaches based in adult learning theory and science. Through your content design you will enable sustainable contact reduction, improved support KPI’s and improved driver retention. You should be committed to synthesizing actionable insights, collective learnings, driver feedback, user research, and your best practices into compelling and engaging learning content. Your role is to stimulate change in driver engagement in ways that promote knowledge retention, all while creating a continuous learning environment.
You’ll be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop all text and media-based content from conception to completion. You will also leverage your project management skills to maintain, report, and track the status of all content in development and ensure it is delivered on time to support initiatives.
You will also be responsible for strategizing content design and development features, while working closely with internal and external content partners supporting the DX Content team.
Minimum Experience & Skills:
- Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and shifting priorities is crucial, given the past paced nature of our work and industry.
- Creativity and Innovation: An ability to think outside the box and come up with new and innovative solutions to learning and development challenges. This includes staying informed about the latest developments in learning and instructional design practices and trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- +2 years of experience designing and developing engaging, impactful, and inclusive learning content leveraging adult learning theories and instructional design models (like Addie, SAM, etc.)
- +2 years of experience using eLearning authoring and web content tools to build learning experiences that include animated videos, graphics and images, and text-based content (knowledge of Articulate 360 and WordPress desired).
- + 2 years of motion and visual design, and gif animation of preferred (knowledge of Figma desired)
- +2 years of program or project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or a related field.
