Senior Creative Asset Manager

OVERVIEW
The Walmart Creative Studio is looking for a Sr. Creative Asset Manager to join the team! This role will partner with internal leadership and MarTech partners to define a Creative Asset Storage program that enables the Creative Studio to house all work in progress and final creative assets and project files in a Walmart-owned, centralized, searchable repository. It will act as the central point of contact to MarTech for all tools that store creative assets, including AEM and Workfront. In this role, you will collaborate with Production, Design, Copy, Creative Project Management and Creative Business Operations to document asset types, use cases, gather requirements, and collaborate with the MarTech DAM Product team to build a roadmap for the Creative Studio DAM ecosystem.
This position will influence the strategic set-up and business use of digital assets and unstructured content (i.e., videos, images, etc). It will help establish process / user management standards, including best practice metadata, taxonomy, permissions, and workflows that span the company. The Sr. Creative Asset Manager is responsible for aligning creative taxonomy across company BUs and markets. It will provide support for user accounts, training, and establish / track KPIs. It will be the functional steward for "single source of the truth" by making DAM the master resource for digital assets and rights management. The role will also work closely with other content teams, such as CMS and Publishing, to ensure the Creative Studio is capturing the right metadata for downstream needs.
The Sr. Creative Asset Manager plays a critical role in strategically improving the Creative Studio’s automation through supported workflows and streamlined asset delivery, data integrity grounded by governance and a centralized data system and drives efficiency across workflows while mitigating risks.

You will make an impact by:
Define and lead a Creative Asset Storage program, inclusive of strategy, goals, requirements, roadmap, and change management plan.
Gatekeeper of a highly dynamic DAM system with a responsibility to ensure content quality and implementation of processes and workflow adjustments.
Help define MAM and Video DAM use cases; partner with MarTech on requirements for a holistic Creative Studio Storage strategy and tool(s).
Define and execute a long-term plan for categorizing, indexing, and archiving Creative Studio content and information resources, whether they are generated in-house or derived from third-party agents.
Develop a comprehensive strategy and taxonomy for organizing information resources based on business goals and requirements from stakeholders.
Partner closely with Integrated Production on priority tool implementations and centralizing usage and rights management.
Prioritize and represent key “problems to solve” to Product team to help them best assess technology solutions.
Evaluate digital assets for archiving, research rights issues, and maintain quality control of archiving operations.
Understand the organizational needs and develop metadata and tags to deliver quality content readily accessible and searchable for different requirements.
Maintain relationship with Product team, specifically on technical support and training issues.
Train Creative Studio, stakeholders and external partners on proper usage and best practices of the DAM system.
Manage special operations assignments, which can include but are not limited to training and development, project management, executing reporting.
Evaluate metadata model regularly for adjustments and additions as business evolves.

You have the ability to design systems for tagging images and cataloguing taxonomy
You have In-depth knowledge of file formats (print, digital, CGI, and video)
You have organizational skills to develop a successful strategy that expands future digital content discovery and delivery to the CMS
You have basic knowledge of Talent contracts and Rights Management
You have working knowledge of media usage rights terminology
You have familiarity with legal approval processes in the licensing industry
You have proactive problem solving and research skills
You have project management skills
You have the ability to work under pressure and to work on multiple projects concurrently
You have previous experience managing junior team members, preferred
You have excellent detailed organizational and communication skills
You have effective verbal and written communication skills
You can demonstrate collaborative and professional work ethic
You have the willingness to be flexible and respond to quickly changing priorities, and multi-task in fast-paced dynamic environment
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, additional coursework in Library Science or cataloging is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of professional level experience; preferably at least 3 of which are in DAM Librarian role.
Experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Bridge.
Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Assets) digital asset management system and Workfront project management system.
Experience as a digital reference librarian, an interface designer, an enhanced service provider for digital collections in libraries, or a webmaster in libraries and other organizations is a plus.
Demonstrated familiarity with metadata standards, communication standards, and classifying systems. Two years experience in records management and in cataloging and classifying materials preferred.
Experience in DAM administration
Broad knowledge of library tools, systems, and resources in corporate organizations.
Solid technology background, including MSOffice Suite software, and familiarity with trends in delivery of electronic information
