What you'll do...

As a Program Manager II, you will have accountability in leading critical projects to reduce instances of driver fraud and platform abuse though measures and continuous improvement of fraud preventions systems. The successful candidate will be partnering with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to analyze fraud patterns, identifying gaps in our existing processes, and implemented safeguards to mitigate risks and develop fraud prevention strategies. These responsibilities will center on planning, execution, dependency mapping, agile ways of working and provide key strategic program support to Sam’s Omni Commerce.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Sam's Club Product Operations team, where you will be tasked with Program Management within eCommerce Fraud Prevention portfolio and leading complex Initiatives in that space. As a member of the PMO team under Sam’s Club Product Operations, you will be a trusted partner to stakeholder and leadership in providing overall program health, roadmap, and quarterly planning across the programs. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Business, and leadership on items such as planning, portfolio/program deliverables, and more. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance to ensure effective execution of Fraud prevention measures, analyze fraud patterns, monitor transactional activities, and identify emerging fraud trends with proposed solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Legal, Engineering, and Product, to analyze, assess, and address fraud risks impacting ecommerce.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, industry experts, and agencies to stay updated on industry best practices and compliance requirements.

  • Prepare and present regular fraud prevention reports, including key metrics, trends, and recommendations, to senior management and other stakeholders.

  • Identify gaps in existing fraud prevention processes and recommend innovative strategies and technology enhancements to strengthen fraud prevention measures.

  • Improve the efficiencies, effectiveness and measurements of Sam’s product offerings and partnering closely with our experience teams to achieve results.

  • Adopt a holistic perspective that considers data, analytics, customer insights, and different parts of the business when making plans and shaping the team’s strategy.

What you’ll bring:

  • Advance knowledge of core Project Management and Agile principles including the SCRUM methodology and ability to apply them as well as lead and provide guidance to overall experience teams.

  • Enable the development of end-to-end delivery plans for complex solutions spanning multiple engineering teams are required to success in this role.

  • Advanced knowledge of industry project manager tool-set (ex. Jira, Confluence, Zoom, etc.) and can apply and provide guidance to support daily job functions.

  • A growth mindset that fosters an environment of support, learning, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment, ability to delegate and monitor others progress leading efforts.

  •  Communication and able to influence team and leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Fraud programs

  • 5+ years of experience and have successfully been a Program Manager for large-scale efforts.

  • 3+ years of experience in a consumer-focus ecommerce environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Comfortable presenting to and persuading at the Director and above level.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
