Position: Manager, Global Internal Audit Services – Finance
Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72716
Duties: Manages regulatory compliance test work by coordinating with process owners to identify and test controls. Validates process documentation. Analyzes information technology (IT) and business information to identify improvement opportunities; and works with external auditors to test regulatory compliance controls. Designs and develops business process audit plans by identifying technology supporting business processes. Identifies risks and threats to business process objectives. Determines the severity of risks. Develops audit tests to test effectiveness of controls. Assigns associates to execute portions of the audit; and incorporates audit frameworks, methodologies, and standards into audit execution. Manages the audit process by directing project workflow. Ensures adherence to audit methodology, communicates with internal and external stakeholders. Reports key findings and concerns. Produces audit documents and supporting documentation. Documents findings and recommendations for management review and presentations. Oversees completion of work product. Participates in customer conferences to ensure customer satisfaction. Assists with the findings follow-up process; and assists with resolution of stakeholder and team issues. Drives efficiencies in the audit process by recognizing automation and integration opportunities. Creates common auditing methodologies. Responds to critical business situations (for example, changes in company audit plan, project deadlines, available resources, company's risk environment); and participates in cross-functional teams. Recommends business and technology strategies, processes, and automated methods by identifying and determining control deficiencies; and evaluates current environment against internal standards, policies, procedures and Institute of Internal Auditors standards and frameworks. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Identifies business needs. Determines and carries out necessary processes and practices. Monitors progress and results. Recognizes and capitalizes on improvement opportunities; and adapts to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field plus 3 years of experience in internal audit, information technology, or a related field.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Extracting, cleaning and transforming data using complex queries in Big Query and Teradata; Extracting, cleaning, transforming and analyzing data using advance applications from Alteryx and Tableu Prep; Performing dashboard using Tableau or Power BI tools in order to analyze data, drive audit coverage and tell the story; Executing agile projects by using agile framework as a Scrum Master; Executing company risk assessment, including operational, financial, compliance and technology processes; Executing rollforward for the investment activity portfolio using ACL and Access; Executing Financial Statement review under IFRS and USGAAP standards; Executing Internal Control Testing under PCAOB standards; Leading and executing complex audit projects, writing the audit report, proving recommendations to the business and following-up remediations; and Developing business process flows in Visio, Lucidchart and Mural.
