Position: Analyst III, Technology Operations

Duties: Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices. Supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Identifying business needs. Determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices. Monitoring progress and results. Recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans. Using the open-door Policy and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices. Financial Management: requires knowledge of: Financial Management tools and processes. Budgeting and internal and external program communication tools and processes to comprehend the financial plan for implementation of the project. Monitor delivery schedules and cost expenditure against forecasts through effective governance. Program Estimation: requires knowledge of: Program Estimation tools and techniques. Risk Assessment and Mitigation tools and techniques. To assess and identify the resources required for successful completion of the project of small to medium complexity. Identify potential risks for successful completion of the project. Business Operations: requires knowledge of: Organization KPIs. Assessment techniques. To work to understand the business priorities of internal functions/teams. Describe profitability drivers and considerations. Describe desired or actual business results in measurable scales or terms. Explain how the organization makes money. Technology Landscape Awareness: Requires knowledge of: Understanding of technology strategy and its linkages to domain. Basic understanding of existing and upcoming systems, technologies and trends. Product technical information. Basic understanding of domain specific market standards. Basic understanding of methodologies and tools, processes, checkpoints. To support the development of business cases and recommendations for technology vertical. Own delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others. Support technology related process updates and changes. Demonstrate functional knowledge of the specific business unit/domain. Program Definition: Requires knowledge of: Program Management techniques, tools and frameworks; Benefits analysis; Program Planning tools and techniques. To define goals, deliverables and schedules for managing small to medium complexity projects in line with the overall strategic objectives. Create accountability matrix for the project under guidance. Program Monitoring and Control: Requires knowledge of: Program Monitoring and Control tools and processes. Internal and external program reporting and logging tools and processes. To monitor and evaluate the progress of the projects against approved milestones and timelines. Lead cross functional and/or pillar coordination meetings to review schedule progress, health, issues/risks, and key dependencies of the projects. Take appropriate measures when required to bring program health on track in case of adversity. Influencing and building stakeholder consensus requires knowledge of: Verbal/Non-verbal behaviors. Application and allocation of business communication styles/techniques in ambiguous and challenging situations. Communication channels/mediums. Interpersonal skills and universal relationship building with ability to connect seemingly unconnected parties. Influencing styles.
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering Management or a related field plus 2 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related OR 4 years of experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Agile methodology to plan, drive and execute IT Projects; creating/tracking user stories/Epics for Sprint Planning using JIRA software; security concepts (DNS, Domain controllers, Firewalls, Cryptography) to lead Infosec projects; creating burn down charts, velocity charts, and Epic reports using JQL Query; developing project/release plans and timelines, monitoring execution progress and driving resolution to possible scope/time trade-offs using PMO methodology; maintaining project knowledge repository, project documentation, and reports using both Confluence and SharePoint software; being a Scrum Master to lead Sprints, retrospectives, and other ceremonies; creating dashboards for tracking Metrics using Tableau; MS-Project software, creating Project Plans, capturing risks, changing controls, dependencies, and resource allocation; Software Development Lifecycle management (SDLC) for project process, execution, quality, risk and change Management; and Project Financials, Budget forecasting, Procurement, getting budget approvals, and purchase orders creation using P2P process or other similar tools.
