This Manager I, Content Development will support Global Ethics & Compliance training, awareness, and communication efforts across the associate learning journey. If you love storytelling, have a strong background in learning or content strategy, and champion integrity, this may be the role for you.

What you’ll do…

  • Deliver operational excellence through consistent, continuous, and cohesive digital content and identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement.

  • Manage compliance awareness content by auditing existing materials, identifying gaps or duplication, collaborating on recommended changes, and completing approved updates in the content management system (CMS).

  • Help deliver multi-channel awareness campaigns within the Walmart and Sam’s Club ecosystem.

  • Foster collaboration with Corporate Affairs and business partners across the company to launch effective communications.

  • Support a use-case based information-architecture approach for our digital intranet experience.

  • Craft high-impact, clear, concise, and human copy.

  • Edit communications from subject-matter experts for grammar, usage, adherence to style, and fit within information architecture.

  • Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics.

  • Build strategic relationships quickly.

What you’ll bring…

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Learning & Development, communications, journalism, or related area.

  • A passion to be a storyteller, innovator, and advocate for our values-based culture.

  • Strength in using both sides of the brain to combine data and creative intuition for optimized content that delivers on program goals.

  • Experience making complex subjects easily understood through visuals and stories.

  • Solid content-strategy skills.

  • Understanding how to translate legal or process-heavy copy into plain language.

  • Action-orientation, resourcefulness, and approachability while also having the ability to strategize and influence.

  • Familiarity with effective compliance programs and compliance-by-design concepts –and curious to learn more.

  • Trust in and prioritization of the collective success of the team – you are quick to jump in, help, mentor, and coach your fellow team members.

  • Discipline and rigorous prioritization.

  • Enthusiasm to be challenged and readiness to engage at Fortune 1 scale.

  • Strong communications and organizational skills.

  • Highly flexible and adaptable.

  • Excellent judgment and ability to think strategically and follow through tactically.

  • Ability to work successfully in a matrix organization.
