Walmart Connect (the advertising network arm for Walmart) is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, ad tech partners, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers.
Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced Director of Partner Network to build strategy and oversee the execution of Walmart Connect Partner Program. You’ll be a manager who contributes to a high-caliber team in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth. We are looking for demonstrated performance in a constantly changing, ambiguous environment; and problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.
The Director of Partner Network [who reports into the Head of Agency and Ad Tech] will develop and oversee strategy and execution of Walmart Connect’s growing Partner Network including across Partner Trust, Tiering and Benefits and Partner Enablement. This role plays a key role in defining how to help diverse partners grow their businesses, while assuring end client success. This role will work cross-functionally internally on execution. S/he will build and lead a high-caliber team in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth.
What you'll be doing:
- Serve as the lead strategist for Walmart Connect Partner Network to drive adoption of services and results for all Walmart Connect advertisers
- Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches
- Coordinate with other teams, prioritizing their involvement, needs and activation
- Develop Partner Network program that supports accelerating advertiser performance across third party partners who are quality, innovative, diverse and at the best cost for our customers
- Drive product adoption and provide ongoing education about new and existing Walmart Connect ad products and encourage innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to provide consultative services to Walmart Connect sales and account management teams whose clients are implementing partner solutions/tools in market
- Be the advocate for Sales to both assist in the development of growth strategies for advertisers and suppliers
- Work with Sales Ops to set goals, actively measure impact of initiatives and ensure alignment with broader business teams
- Work closely with our product team on the product vision and roadmap
- Track, analyze, and report key quantitative metrics both day-to-day and in quarterly business review format
- Identify trends and evolving needs, develop programmatic tools and resources to improve efficiency
Minimum Qualification:
- 15+ years of client facing experience in business development, ad tech partnerships, product management for search, ecommerce marketplace
- High analytical skill set with an MBA as a plus
- Experience leading performing teams and mentoring others
- Ability to succinctly and easily explain ad tech language and ideas to a retail/merchant organization
- Ability to achieve and exceed deadlines
- Project management experience, including multitasking to lead and execute multiple projects in parallel
Preferred Qualification:
- Knowledge of advertising, ad tech, retail, and partnerships
- Ability to develop and get alignment for strategic plans in a new space
- Ability to translate complexity into action plans and communication in a succinct manner
- Ability to work cross-functionally with peers and managers, both internally/externally
- Experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- BA/BS with excellent academic performance (or equivalent experience), and MBA
- Deep passion building great products, startups, developer/partner ecosystem and the business of innovation
- Experience working with large datasets

The annual salary range for this position is $140,000 to $260,000.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
