What you'll do:
Lead the development teams for our new Health and Wellness internal admin platform with reach across all of our healthcare lines of business including Pharmacies, Clinics, Virtual Care, Vision Centers, .Com, and more.
Implement new architectural patterns; and perform design and code reviews of changes.
Build relationships with team members, peers, and partners.
Provide accountability for delivery across team.
Grow and direct work across team.
Analyzes cause of important business and production issues by reviewing information.
Direct actions as designated in the plan; interpret the results to determine further action; direct root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and review and approve online documentation.
Support our goals by collaborating with business partners to identify opportunities and guide resolution; partner with to define priorities.
Identify short- and long-term solutions; and lead partnership.
Lead the discovery phase of large projects to develop high-level design by partnering with the Product Management, Web Operations, Project Management, Business and User Experience teams.
You will report to the Director of Engineering for Health Horizontal Infrastructure team.
What you'll bring:
8+ years of experience in the Software Engineering field
1+ years leadership experience
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
Knowledge in deployment automation tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Nomad, etc.)
Strong full stack web and services engineering background (Java, Javascript, ReactJs)
Experience Designing, Scoping, and Building large projects with large teams
Git or a similar version control tools
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)
Strong understanding of continuous integration and delivery (Jenkins, GitOps, etc)
Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, or similar) and concepts (CHO, Integration, Unit, etc )
Strong understanding of large-scale data platforms
