What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, Product, Back-End/API, etc.) to identify, prioritize, and build new features.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets coding standards.

  • Mentor and coach junior engineers on best practices and software development methodologies.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members.

  • Write and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.

  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues as needed.

  • Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on front-end technologies.

  • Previous experience leading a team, project, or feature.

  • Previous experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers.

  • Previous experience in a responsive, cross-browser compatible, and high-performance production web application.

  • A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation, and code structure in a team environment.

  • An understanding of the software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.

  • An ability to build products with a focus on testability.

  • A familiarity with agile development methodologies.

  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Extensive experience with: JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS, NextJS, HTML, and CSS/SASS.

  • Experience working with CSS frameworks and component libraries (e.g. Tailwind, Material UI).

  • Experience testing with Jest and Cypress.

  • Experience integrating with and consuming APIs (e.g. Rest, GraphQL).

  • Experience with CICD pipelines (e.g. CircleCI, Jenkins).

  • Experience with responsive and cross-browser compatibility testing.

  • Experience with Figma or similar design collaboration tool.
