The Information Security team has the herculean task of assuring that customers can safely shop with peace of mind knowing their data and information will be safe and secure. Solving some of the most unique cyber security problems in the industry, our team members share an elevated level of creativity and ingenuity to secure data for one of the largest e-commerce operations in the world.

As a Advanced Systems Engineer, Cybersecurity (Software Engineer) on the Cryptography team, you will be responsible securely developing and building applications and supporting systems.

What you’ll do

• Define secure mechanisms for critical business functions, for both on- premises and in cloud environments

• Evaluate the risk of change and providing actionable guidelines on reducing the impact.

• Using your diverse knowledge base, skills, and expertise to ensure changes are documented clearly and implemented with no impact.

• Communicate guidelines to all InfoSec stakeholders.

What you'll bring

• Experience in Java, Phyton, or C++ programming languages.

• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting technologies.

• Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQL, Oracle, MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached and Varnish
