The Packaging Design Manager will play a key role in overseeing the successful execution of packaging design projects, from concept development through to final production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging design, project management, and cross-functional team collaboration. This individual will work closely with our cross functional teams, external design agencies, and production partners to ensure that each project is delivered on time, on brief and within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading and managing packaging design projects from concept development through final production, ensuring they are delivered on time, on brief, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to understand their packaging design needs.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines.
  • Building, maintaining, and enhancing effective internal and external partnerships through demonstrated integrity.
  • Coordinating and communicating with design agencies, external production partners and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the project, identifying and implementing creative solutions.
  • Ensuring all packaging designs meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and sustainability requirements.
  • Staying up to date with the latest industry trends, innovations, and best practices in packaging design and project management.
  • Demonstrate Superior decision and coordination skills when faced with conflicting or ambiguous inputs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to diverse business partners, influencing them to act as needed to move the business forward.
  • Provide respectful, effective, timely feedback to others. Seek, internalize, and utilize feedback to make necessary changes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Packaging Experience across various materials and formats.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Or 5 years’ experience in CPG or Retail Packaging in Foods or Consumables
  • Strong knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and creative best practices.
  • Proficient in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.
