What you'll do at

Develops and implements strategic initiatives and processes to promote supply chain growth by collaborating with new and existing internal business units and external third parties ; providing operational and logistical direction on import related business with little or no supervision; communicating strategies to senior leadership; and overseeing supply chain-related topics at major merchandising and corporate events. Assists and handles complex risk control and error reduction processes by working with managers and associates to improve quality and processes while reducing inefficiencies ; identifying key performance indicators; communicating import related issues and changes to internal and external stakeholders ; developing and ensuring process transitions; and establishing processes to reduce the number of errors and discrepancies. Supports the execution of systems enhancements and process simplifications to continuously improve the supply chain process; developing and implementing cost-efficiencies within the business model; serving as a subject matter expert for processes ; managing decisions in collaboration with key business and trade partners in sourcing and buying decisions; and evaluating the impact of process improvements through measuring results and return on investment. Provides operational assistance to suppliers and field operations by serving as the primary point of contact and liaison on supply chain operations for assigned accounts; providing direction and support on streamlining current supply chain operations; reviewing level of service and developing improvement plans with supplier and field operations; discussing and resolving opportunities with suppliers and field operations; receiving and reviewing field lane requests; communicating lane change information; and communicating supplier forecasts to field operations. Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzing and applying information from multiple sources; monitoring progress and results; and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities. Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems. Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others with how to adapt to change or new challenges.
