About the Role:
As the Staff Product Manager for one of Store Nº8’s portfolio companies, you will focus on building 0->1 products with a lean and high-powered team. You will partner with Engineers, Product, business strategy, UX/UI, Data Scientists. You will need to be a self-starter with a bias for action and excellent communication skills.
This is a rare opportunity, moving at the speed of a start-up, with the backing and in-house data (lots of data) of the Fortune 1 company. You will bridge the art of what’s possible across today’s rapidly evolving customer and food landscape.
What You Will Do:
Owning and driving of several complex products, forming a portfolio of workstreams that are geared towards achieving product user fit and eventually product market fit
Owning risks related to value and viability within a high-powered, cross-functional Product team closely connected to Product Design & Engineering leaders
Deeply understand and define the most impactful customer opportunities and lead stakeholders to define the best solution and path forward which includes advanced technologies like AI and ML
Ensuring planning through deep discovery, scope and feature set of programs, understand and articulate detailed requirements with internal stakeholders and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle.
Understanding systems interdependencies and lead cross-functional teams towards technical solutions
Being equally at home explaining your team’s product’s vision to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Constantly striving to develop best practices in a changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery. Ensuring product documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, related fields or equivalent practical experience and 5+ years’ Cross-functional Product Management experience working among several groups such as: design, program management, engineering, and business stakeholders.
An ability to understand technical subjects and emerging technologies, and their relevance to the marketplace with a focus on recommendation engines powered by AI & ML.
Knowing how to handle multiple priorities in an energizing environment
Agile methodologies experience
Experience working with technical teams with interest and the ability to learn other technical areas as needed.
Deep experience with Atlassian Products including Jira and Confluence.
Must have:
Multiple years of experience building end-to-end consumer experiences in a late-stage startup or equivalent environment
