Manages accuracy and integrity of tax returns, forms, and audits by assessing tax work papers for international operations; executing and ensuring correction of deficiencies; working with internal and external auditors to ensure proper financial statement reporting; maintaining and testing processes for Sarbanes-Oxley reporting and compliance; guiding and mentoring analysts in income tax compliance processes and procedures; and preparing and reporting test results.
Implements strategies to minimize the company's global tax burden by advising on United States, international, or transfer pricing tax issues for the company; assessing the impact of changes in United States and global tax laws on company operations; developing relationships with industry leaders and tax professionals outside company to share best practices; advising team and Washington, DC based government relations group on international and domestic tax policy; and identifying and capitalizing on short, medium, and long-term legislative opportunities to minimize the company's global tax burden.
