Walmart International FP&A is seeking a curious, talented, and self-motivated senior manager to support our International Leadership Team understand the financial performance from the Markets around the world by partnering with them and providing visibility and robust analysis on the most important metrics.

The role will provide decision support for functional groups by developing financial forecasts, assisting with business solution support, leading ad-hoc projects and analyzing financial impact of technologies, systems, and processes.  Help business partners understand key financial interdependencies and proactively highlight opportunities and risks.

  • You are experienced in International Operations, Financial Analysis and Consulting.

  • You are a proven problem solver with high intellectual curiosity and strong analytical & financial modeling abilities.

  • You have a special ability to understand very complex problems but synthetize and communicate them in a very simple way.

  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships

  • You demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to deal with ambiguity

You will make an impact by performing the following:

  • Analysis: Analyze performance and trends, determine root cause for deviations, prepare and present financial summaries, business insights and recommendations.

  • Data Driven Decision Support: Evaluate business decisions based on data and help management make appropriate decisions, balancing customer experience and impact to sales growth and profitability. 

  • Business Partnering: Interact regularly with senior management teams to help them define and enable business strategies. Learn about the business and respond to requests, asking the right questions to determine what data is really needed. Develop strong working relationships with Markets across the world and internally with Corporate by balancing between their needs and the Portfolio.

  • Adaptability: This position will require strong adaptability as the nature of the portfolio and work is in constant evolution. Be able to switch from one project or deliverable to another in a seamless way as the priorities change depending on the scenario.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area pr 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.

  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency

  • 1 year of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects                                             

  • 1 year of supervisory experience                                  

  • 1 – 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office

  • 1 – 3 years of experience working in a large, complex, matrixed organization

  • 1 – 3 years of experience analyzing data and interpreting results

Minimum Qualifications...
