The Omnichannel Transformation team’s goal is to maximize advertiser investments in marketing and advertising by operationalizing all consumer touchpoints to form a holistic, 1W (One Walmart) omnichannel solution to reach our customers across all of our channels.  This is a unique opportunity to join a high-visibility team with a big impact on our enterprise business across retail and Walmart Connect.    


The Senior Manager- Operations, Omnichannel Transformation will help lead the operations of the Transformation team inside of Walmart Connect. This team is charged with driving enterprise strategy development across Walmart and the growth of our physical advertising and in-store digital offerings inside of Walmart Connect. This manager will prepare presentations documents for stake holders, help build and roll out scalable best practices and optimization efforts and build reporting to make each of these initiatives successful.   


Responsibilities include:  

  • Operating with excellence – You’ll land the fundamentals and help scale best-in-class efficient workflows, processes, and timelines, embedding operational excellence into everything you do and developing associates on the team to increase capabilities and enhance skills, knowledge, and performance.  

  • With guidance from your director, you will launch and maintain the team’s dashboards to monitor sales which will enable the commercialization team to deliver strategic insights to internal stakeholders to influence the overall direction for each of the programs.  

  • Help facilitate the rollout and adoption of a project management system (Workfront, Microsoft Teams, and/or JIRA)  

  • Building out the Omnichannel Transformation team’s tools to monitor experiential and OOH sales performance through analytics and key metrics. Developing and execute against workstream project plans, identifying key dependencies and critical paths to ensure all work is accomplished on time and on budget  

  • Support the development of major check points, OKRs, and KPIs to measure progress including partnering with WMC Product, Marketing, Sales, and other functional stakeholders to align on dates and deliverables, incorporating all feedback as appropriate  

  • Building relationships across relevant Walmart business units and external third parties to ensure continued stakeholder buy-in and engagement  

  • Serving as a thought partner and co-executor to any new workstreams as they emerge and pivot  

  •  Identifying anything that is broken or impeding operating at breakneck speed, escalating concerns where needed  

  • Partnering with leaders from Experiential and OOH teams to operationalizing omnichannel advertising experiences across the Walmart ecosystem in close coordination with internal and external partners.  This will include the development of tools, playbooks, processes and structure to allow for smooth integration of individual advertising components into the broader 1W Enterprise plan.  

  • Owning development of operating models (campaign flow, booking, billing, etc) with third party agencies and service providers to execute Experiential and digital in-store tactics.

  • Have retail, agency or shopper marketing background and have advanced experience building out operating models and processes  

  • Demonstrated experience working within a high-growth organization, or emerging businesses inside a larger organization strongly preferred

Preferred Experience  

  • +4 years of large-scale marketing operations marketing experience  

  • 3 years of management experience working with multiple business functions  

  • 3 years’ experience using project management or campaign trafficking tools (Workfront, Microsoft Teams, JIRA)  

  • MBA preferred but not required

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 3 years’ experience in operations, project
management, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
1 year’s supervisory experience
