About the Team   

The mission of the Emerging Technology team at New Business is to deliver breakthrough capabilities that save customers time and money and enable associates and partners to serve and delight customers anytime, quickly, anywhere. We are a team of technologists at the forefront of the brighter future who build digital assistant and platform capabilities for Conversational AI, Intelligent Assistant, Extended Reality and Web 3.0 (NFT). 

We are looking for a Tech Operation Program Manager/Analyst to join the Emerging Tech Operation team to support Emerging Tech organization and the leadership team to scale and form the cultures at all levels of the organization.  The operations team plays key roles in orchestrating, and enabling the execution of planning, communication, engineering operational excellence, and culture/community initiatives. 

Job Description   

The Technology Operations Program Manager/Analyst will be responsible for Data/Business Analysis to  provide Leadership insights for effective decision making, managing, and driving small-scale time sensitive projects within Emerging Tech, while also learning and becoming an expert with the tools used by the teams. 

The successful candidate will have a passion for driving continuous improvement, possess strong business acumen, good understanding of the technology landscape, execute their work with an analytic mindset and approach, and thrive in a fast paced, collaborative culture.  

 Responsibilities  

  • Owns the analysis, development, and execution of business insights to provide recommendations to leadership for decision making.  
  • Partners with existing Operations Manager and Technical Program Management team to create common dashboards, capture insight data and templates and tools, etc. 
  • Assists in preparing annual budget planning and monthly financial plans 
  • Drives multiple small-scale organizational and engineering operational excellence projects  
  • Develops communications plan relating to events and tool changes within the org 
  • Partners with Technology managers to craft detailed business analyses, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business, as needed 
  • Reviews existing processes and provides data driven recommendations for continuous improvements 

 Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, or related area and 2 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area. 
  • Experience working with product engineering to understand technology stakeholders' needs, functions, organizational context, process, and deliverables  
  • Ability to learn quickly, creative, and open minded  
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including comfort with communications to senior executives  
  • Expertise with collaboration tools (Outlook, Zoom, Slack, MS Office Suite, Confluence, Aha!)
