We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Workbrain for a key position within Global Time and Attendance team.  Global Time and Attendance platform plays key role in enabling associates to manage their time & attendance by providing convenient mobile & desktop experience.

We are embracing Open-Source technology using React-Native, React.js to build a front end, mobile experience and cloud native backend services using Java. In our team, you will work with talented engineers across our platforms including mobile engineers, backend service engineers, UX Designer and product managers to shape our road map for Global Time & Attendance platform with vision to build associate centric PaaS/SaaS offering.

  

Required Skillset:-

  • Expert level of programming experience with Java and J2EE with working experience on at least JDK v8 – JDK v11 would be preferred.
  • Through understanding and practical working experience in Infor WFM’s Time and Attendance, Balance and Accruals and Electronic Time Management modules.
  • Experience in developing custom JSPs, Pay Rules, Batch Tasks and ETL Tasks by extending Infor WFM core libraries, APIs and using Spring Framework 4.1.
  • Experience in working with WBScheduler, IBM Cognos 10.1, Configuration management using Infor’s migration tool, Calc Group configuration and Maintenance form configuration.
  • Experience writing SQL, PL/SQL scripts on RDBMS products including SQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Experience in working with middleware products including IBM WebSphere 8.x.x, Oracle WebLogic 12 and JBoss.
  • Experience in designing distributed, highly available, fault tolerant systems/services applying BCDR patterns and design patterns like Circuit Breaker, Asynchronous communication, and Rate limiters.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting highly-performant services.
  • Exposure to performance engineering, application performance management and tracing.
  • Experience with implementing Telemetry, Observability and Monitoring tools.

Added advantage: -

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines building Cloud Native applications using Docker and Kubernetes or OpenStack.
  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions using Event Driven architectures and data management patterns like CQRS, and API Composition.
  • Exposure to Service Mesh and API Gateway technologies.
  • Hands-on expertise with GraphQL would be preferred.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Cloud based systems.
  • Experience with middleware technologies like Apache Tomcat, JBoss would be preferred.
