Senior Manager II, Security-Insider Threat Management

The Senior Threat Manager II (STM II) role manages an Insider Threat Management program of Sr. Threat Managers (STM) that apply internal and external behavioral and situational threat assessments to proactively determine vulnerabilities.  An STM II is required to make urgent complex decisions, use excellent professional judgement, and protect associates and customers and the Walmart brand. STM IIs are responsible for ensuring their team of STMs work quickly to interpret available data through the lenses of their experiences, professional training, case studies, academic studies, and peer partnerships to protect proprietary information in partnership with other security and investigative teams. STM IIs will provide guidance and leadership in all areas of the business to include case management, program management, building new and maintaining existing business partner relationships (internal/external), and STM development. The Insider Threat Management team works in conjunction with and supports the broader Threat Management Team when needed by applying behavioral threat assessment techniques to determine the potential threat level and subsequent risk mitigation plan.

  • You have basic knowledge of human behavior and mental health concerns

  • You are an effective and clear communicator
