What you'll do...

As a Sr. Research Manager for Product Insights within the Private Brands team, you’ll serve as an advocate for the Member translating the Member voice into actionable insights to drive development of new Member’s Mark items as well as renovate existing ones. You’ll be an integral part of growing the Member’s Mark brand into a brand our members truly love.  Along the way, you’ll be guided by a knowledgeable team of subject matter experts who will provide you with the support and tools that you need to do your best work.  You’ll also get the freedom of creativity to bring new research solutions to a growing and critical team.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if…

  • You have vast and diverse experience working in market research, consumer insights, behavioral psychology or any other relevant field focused on the identification and understanding of consumer behavior.
  • Competent in statistical analysis, pulling out insights and visualizing for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with advanced surveying techniques such as conjoint, max diff, correspondence analysis, consumer trackers, etc.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must excel at taking business problems, designing solutions to solve, and communicating insights in ways that cross functional teams can action against.

You’ll make an impact by…

  • Building relationships: you’ll work closely with stakeholders from multiple vocations with and around the Private Brands team.  
  • Documenting, coordinating, and guiding project-based activities: you’ll help to orchestrate critical activities for Product Insights which will impact the success of the Member’s Mark brand across all of Merchandising.
  • Supporting the design, development, and launch of new products: you’ll work with our Private Brands team and Merchants to help deliver new and exciting Member’s Mark products that our Members will love that are grounded in insights.
  • Knowing your business: you’ll know our Members, what they want and what they don’t want and help translate that into actionable insights through statistical rigor.
  • Looking for several years of experience in a consumer research role for a CPG or Retail company with 5+yrs of experience.

Sciences, Statistics, Analytics or related field and 2 years of experience in research, experimental design, social sciences, statistics, analytics or
related field.
2 years of supervisory experience.
