As the Project Manager, Pickup Merchandising – Walmart Services, you’ll be driving the execution and delivery of Pickup Today and Online Grocery merchandise strategy for Digital Acceleration that redefines the shopping experience for Walmart customers.
Here are some things you’ll do every day
Manage medium to large Pickup projects (for example, seasonal programs, web merchandising, troubleshooting item issues, or serving as the store and GEC point of contact for strategic alignment and assortment expansion initiatives) by determining timelines and deliverables; developing communication plans for execution; driving cross-functional visibility; escalating at risk projects to senior leadership; advising on potential impacts to deadlines or established objectives; providing recommendations for future process improvements to Pickup management; and taking corrective actions to address issues to ensure timelines are met.
Manage department and category pickup and digital merchandising strategies by analyzing daily and weekly reports for business area, developing quarterly business plans, and working with Merchant leaders to address business challenges
Lead the research and resolution of merchant or store reported Pickup assortment issues
Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in multiple systems and contributes to product requirements for the continuous improvement of core systems and architecture
Optimize pickup sales and fill rate by evaluating financial, budgeting, and operational performance through the lens of merchandising planning activities such as replenishment, markdowns and modular planning.
Provides and supports the implementation of pickup merchandising by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years’ experience in project management, business, operations, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in project management, business, operations, or related area.
1 year’s experience working in cross-functional teams.
