The Head of Order Operations for US Ecommerce is responsible for leading the teams that monitor Walmart and Jet.com ecommerce order flow and insuring a great customer experience through on-time fulfillment, proactive customer communications and optimization of operational responses to customer contacts. They also are responsible for leading the Product Catalog operations team that is responsible for improvement of the Jet product catalog. Your goal is to ensure a positive customer experience through operational excellence. As the head of order operations, you are responsible for leading continuously evolving and improving the order pipe line across eCommerce to ensure smooth order flow from checkout until delivery.

What you’ll be working on

Master all Walmart Order Operations: Take ownership of order flow of Walmart and Jet.com as well as subsidiary products that flow through the owned, DSV and 3p eCommerce fulfillment network.

Technical Expertise: Oversee the ticketing workflows, training materials and high-level analytical reporting, data visualization and creative/effective customer communications

Contribute to Team Excellence: Maintain and grow the leadership, management, and technical skills of the Managers and analysist across Bentonville, San Bruno, Salt Lake City and Hoboken that can effectively drive an amazing customer experience.

Work Across the company: Partner with US eCommerce fulfillment, retail, customer care, technical operations and other key teams develop an ever-improving customer experience across US eCommerce


  • Lead teams of operators and analysts in variety of tasks focused on process improvement
  • Outline and execute strategy of process improvement in the areas of order management and product catalog that support the overall goals of Customer Care organization
  • Work with the Salt Lake City team to ensure the appropriate head count and budget to achieve the mission of the order management and product catalog operations teams
  • Contribute to the development and training of other Order Ops Management Team

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10-12 yrs work experience in operations, customer service and/or analytics

Bonus points

  • Experience in eCommerce supply chain or fulfillment
  • Operations Leadership Experience
  • Experience with Excel, SQL, Python, Looker, Klipfolio, Splunk, SalesForce, Jira
  • Proven track record of innovation and tenacity
