What you'll do at

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer professional in our San Bruno, CA office.

Duties: Participate in projects by reviewing project requirements; translating requirements into technical solutions; gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames); writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with project team and cross functional teams. Develop user interfaces for web applications by applying in-depth knowledge of object oriented JavaScript and using various Javascript frameworks and libraries like React.JS, Angular.JS, Backbone.js, Require.js, Underscore,js and jQuery. Troubleshoot open issues and bug-fixes, as well as cross-browser compatibility issues, ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs. Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality, possible root cause); engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues; formulating an action plan; performing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting the results to determine further action; performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and completing online documentation. Provide support to the business by responding to user's questions, concerns, and issues (for example, technical feasibility, implementation strategies); identifying short- and long-term solutions; and facilitating resolutions.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Any), Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of full stack development experience; OR Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Any), Computer Science or a related field and 2 years of full stack development experience.

Skills required: Experience dealing with the performance tuning for large scale apps. Experience working with the Agile environments. Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JSON. Experience with JavaScript Frameworks and libraries such as Angular, JQuery. Experience working with REST Services, AJAX and related technologies. Experience with a consumer facing e-commerce site. Experience with Node Js. Development experience in core Java. Working Knowledge of Linux. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
