What you'll do at

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Leverage strong experience with continuous integration, delivery, and related tools (e.g. Git, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube) to design, develop, maintain, improve, migrate/on-board teams and support Walmart in-built CICD tools Looper, WaRM, Concord, Hygieia. Implement continuous integration & continuous deployment workflows that support performance, stability, and error-free operation. Design and create end to end infrastructure using OneOps, enable automated monitoring and alert and ensure close to 100% uptime of the tools. Configure various tools in different cloud environments making them highly available and reliable. Troubleshoot issues in complex, distributed, multi-tier architectures. Migrate various ecommerce applications (using ATG, Sterling, Node, Maven, Ant) from legacy tools to latest CICD tools in Walmart. Upgrade the tools and plugins to the latest versions in the market. Onboard various teams to the Hygieia, a dashboard of the Continuous Integration metrics. Develop tools and framework to improve operational excellence using Java, J2EE, AJAX, REST web service, Web based GUI. Proactively monitor, identify, and escalate issues or root causes of systemic issues. Prepare user manual for the self-servicing of Walmart inbuilt tools.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience with CI/CD tools.

Skills required: Hands on experience with Java and J2EE. Experience with Jenkins. Web Services experience. Linux Shell Scripting experience. Demonstrated knowledge of SonarQube, Ant. ATG, Sterling experience. Experience with Nexus. GitHub experience. Experience with Eclipse, Apache Tomcat. Experience with JBOSS, CVS, SVN. AJAX, JSP, REST experience.
