What you'll do at

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Design, prototype, and deliver highly scalable and reliable production ready code. Develop and operate code across multiple productions systems. Work with Hadoop/MapReduce and large-scale Analytics systems that are capable of ingesting, managing, storing and analyzing hundreds of terabytes of data. Participate in medium- to large-scale projects. Work closely with engineering management on optimizing all engineering processes such as estimation, architecture, task definition, etc. Work closely with Project Managers on planning and execution tracking. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions. Provide applications development support to the business. Troubleshoot business and production issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environments; OR Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 6 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environments.

Skills required: Experience with programming languages such as Java, Scala, Bash, and Python. Experience developing distributed or scalable systems. Experience with Hadoop Ecosystem and big data batch processing system. Demonstrated knowledge of Big Data querying tools such as Hive. Experience with various messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ. Experience in real time data processing framework such as Apache Storm and Apache Spark. Experience building Click Fraud Detection Systems. Demonstrated knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks such as Airflow and Hamake. Experience building RESTful services. Demonstrated knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Nagios and Graphite. Experience with frontend frameworks such as AngularJs and ReactJS. Experience in distributed No-SQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDb, and Elasticsearch. Experience building Online Ads tracking systems.
