As the Project Manager of Business Solutions, Item File Development, you’ll be leading the development of project plans, capabilities, documentation and testing and product strategies for Item File projects (including, but not limited to: Online Item File, Supplier Center and next generation Item File systems) that will enhance the item setup experience for merchants and suppliers.

Here are some things you’ll do every day:
Lead a project within a work stream that align to the overall item setup strategy
Adapt to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities
Manage development and implementation of current and next generation item file systems vision and strategy
Perform detailed data analysis and make recommendations for improving process efficiency and optimization to increase quality of business results for work stream
Lead cross functional team on project implementation, and escalate appropriately
Develop project plan, business use cases, UAT definition, training documentation and other technical documents relating to current and next generation item file systems
Collaborate with retailers and suppliers to drive industry standardization to meet Walmart goals and objectives
Communicate and support Standard Business Practices within Walmart Stores Inc
Lead strategic projects to solve complex item file issues
Promote continued education of item file processes, and drive system implementation and adoption throughout business areas for both digital and physical platforms (Merchandising, Replenishment)
Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders and Walmart Labs partners to identify and implement systemic solutions for business needs
Utilize Jira & Confluence tools to track and report system opportunities, research & tracking

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field and 2 years of experience in retail merchandising, operations, or related field OR 4 years or experience in retail merchandising, operations, or related field.
Demonstrates success in working with projects from concept to implementation across multiple business units and work streams
Strong analytical skills, capable of telling a story with data analyses and impacting business through advanced data analysis, using advanced business math and statistics; understanding of SQL, Visual basic, access, etc.
Ability to identify and react to changing business needs while determining tasks, prioritizing multiple demands and ensuring execution in a timely manner
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to develop relationships, influence perceptions and initiate change
Demonstrates a sense of urgency that motivates others to complete responsibilities and achieve goals with excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills
Strong Microsoft Suite skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, Access, etc.
Strong critical thinking skills and judgment
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in one of the following areas: item file, retailing, supply chain, system development, merchandising, replenishment, logistics, transportations, store operations, or related field.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs to support both current business systems, and development of future systems
At least two years of experience with Agile project methodology
Experience creating and presenting progress metrics, presenting to company leadership
Two years of experience with Item File systems or similar external experience
Experience writing queries using SQL, Visual basic, access, etc.
