What you'll do at

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Develop technical Network Infrastructure solutions to meet customer needs. Maintain and improve network stability. Provide engineering and troubleshooting support for complex enterprise network environments. Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation. Participate in war rooms for critical site issues. Collaborate cross functional teams of Network and Security Architects, Server and Platform Engineers, and Data Center Operations. Create the SOP’s for day to day repeatable work.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, or related field and 5 years of experience in information technology.

Skills required: Demonstrated knowledge of switching technologies, including VLAN, VXLAN, STP, port-channel, VPC,HSRP, VRRP. Demonstrated knowledge of routing protocols: static route, OSPF, BGP, ISIS protocol, EIGRP, routing strategy. Configuration and troubleshooting of cisco, juniper, Citrix network appliance experience. Demonstrated knowledge of TAP / SPAN design and deployment. Experience with packet analysis with Wireshark, tshark. Experience in LAN, WAN, EDGE, VPN, MPLS design and deployment. Experience with Load balancing, GSLB, Content Switching. Experience with mainstream monitoring tools, methods and protocols, including Nagios, Cacti, NNMi, OPNET, Statseeker, SNMP, and SolarWinds. Experience with automation tools development with Python, Shell Bash, AWK, sed. Demonstrated knowledge of Layer 4 - Layer 7 firewall design, deployment, and troubleshooting. Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI model. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
