What you'll do at

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Designs, prototypes, and builds technology-fueled products that bridge the gap between what's next and what's best. Oversees discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design. Guides the work of other small groups of four to six engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects. Design and implement front end for eCommerce platform which includes handling navigation on the site, credit Card processing, and Session management. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions and projects that ensure Accurate Product Availability is shown at a product level. This requires analysis of all the flows where product info is shown like product details page, favorites, shopping list, order management, and banners rendered from CMS. Provides applications development support to the business and platform level initiatives including introducing new build system such as gulp, introducing CSS styles, refactoring code, removing unused or dead functions, and modularizing the functionality for reusability. Troubleshoots business and production issues such as preserving products that are added to cart even if a user navigates to terms and conditions and navigates back or issues involving the refreshing of a page that does not render the page correctly.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience in large scale enterprise software development environments.

Skills required: Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. Demonstrated knowledge of frameworks like jQuery, Backbone, React. Experience with integration, maintenance and upgrade of several content pages, based on CMS technologies. Experience building pattern libraries and responsive websites. Demonstrated knowledge of Node.js. eCommerce experience. Experience with web applications development on top of RESTful APIs. Experience with Git.
