What you'll do at

We are seeking a Software Engineer III professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Help develop payment/tax/fraud products for the next generation of challenges, including very high capacity, guaranteed availability, and mass market usability without compromising the quality. Participate in Design and Creation of the next-generation Global Payments Service, providing holistic global support not just for credit cards but dozens of other payment methods: gift cards, checks, electronic funds transfer, COD, offline bank transfer, bill-me-later, subscription billing, mobile payments, etc. Participate in Design and Creation of the next-generation Global Fraud Service, supporting multiple payment methods, languages and countries, making use of advanced rules-based inferencing and machine learning. Participate in Design and Creation of the next-generation Global Tax Service, including support for tax methods and technology used across the globe. Participate in managing code & configurations for multiple environments, release management process, creating and maintaining environment configuration and controls, code integrity and work closely with @platform team. Analyze business requirements, story-boards and similar artifacts of the scrum process, work in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Skills required: Experience with the Java programming language, especially multi-threading, reflection, and Collections SDK. Experience with Spring framework development, such as Spring IOC, Spring Batch, and Spring Data. Experience with Restful API development. Demonstrated knowledge of HTTP and the TCP/IP protocol and practice. Experience with Oracle, SQL Developer, and Data Migration. Demonstrated knowledge of Tomcat and Web Server. Demonstrated knowledge of Bash Shell Scripts and Splunk. Experience with Eclipse and the IntelliJ IDEA productivity tool. Experience with Git, Agile, JIRA, and the Scrum development process. Experience developing and building n-tier applications using RESTful Services, Java/J2EE, Oracle, and related technologies.
