What you'll do at

We are seeking a Staff Quality Engineer professional in our San Bruno, CA office.

Duties: Be part of the Customer Experience team, which lives on the front line of e-commerce innovation. Deliver high performing solutions - from our next gen front-end platform (node.js and react.js) to our best-in-class backend payments platform which powers web, mobile, and API solutions. Build tools together with our engineering development and test teams and improve quality of applications that we build as a team. Take on new challenges in the mobile test automation space. Drive and provide technical solutions to help development and test teams move faster and be more productive. Lead Quality Assurance engineering efforts of applications, which have more than a million users. Coordinate Quality Assurance Engineering teams at distributed locations. Automate high priority test cases to reduce testing time, increase release frequency and minimize the number of production issues. Drive and coordinate testing process of mobile apps which encompasses tens of distributed testers in multiple cities, countries and timezones.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related field and 2 years of experience supporting a system’s core infrastructure.

Skills required: Experience in UI Automation using Appium/Selenium. Experience testing native Android and iOS applications using the Android Debug Bridge and iOS instruments. Demonstrated knowledge of Android and iOS platform testing, including Regression testing and developing testability Matrix and test strategy plans. Experience testing notifications using Google Play services and Apple Push notifications. Experience debugging and doing performance analysis of applications using Charles Proxy, ADB, Xcode instruments. Experience using Jira to track bug life cycle. Experience with JSON and XML data modeling. Professional testing experience including using Agile methodologies. Experience using version Control systems like Git and Perforce. Experience using Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins. Experience using TestRail to maintain test cases. Experience with REST protocol to understand and debug issues. Experience with Confluence for process oriented documentation. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
