What you'll do at

We are seeking a Senior Business Manager professional in our San Bruno, CA office.

Duties: Support the development of vendor negotiation and vendor management strategies. Conduct complex analyses on large data sets to identify vendor value enhancement opportunities and partner with the merchandising and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment. Analyze complex and large data sets across multiple product categories, business results, information related to product performance, trends, forecasts, competitors, and industry data. Identify opportunities to negotiate lower net cost across a wide range of products and with complex vendor implications. Support the development of vendor negotiation strategies to capture identified opportunity. Partner with the merchandising team to enable lower cost negotiation, providing the relevant supporting data and negotiation tactics. Drive alignment across multiple cross-functional teams, finance, technology, supply chain, marketing, gather the relevant data and insights and ensures alignment. Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity and ensures business needs are being met. Ensure business needs are being met. Oversee multiple and/or complex product and/or service assortment and delivery channels. Oversee and direct the creation and execution of new feature and product development roadmaps.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Management Science, or related field and 2 years of experience in a large data analysis field.

Skills required: Demonstrated knowledge of querying, integrating, and aggregating large data sets. Experience with building complex analytical models. Demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel. Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and Tableau. Data segmentation experience. Data modeling and data reporting experience. Experience optimizing SQL queries with large blocks of code. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills gained through professional experience, graduate research or academic coursework.
