What you'll do at

We are seeking a Senior Service Manager professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Examine and coordinate requests for change in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile environment, able to surface risks by understanding system and application integrations, and recognizing situations of incomplete or deficient documentation. Assist with risk and impact assessment prior to implementation to ensure the business is not affected by inadequately planned changes. Administer CAB meetings and ensure the Change Advisory Board (CAB) is run effectively and efficiently and has appropriate levels of engagement with all stakeholders, both internal and external. Drive changes to process and procedures to speed deployment while protecting the customer environment. Conduct and/or participate in Post Implementation Reviews. Ensure transition into Problem Management for failed changes. Make recommendations around continual service improvements around change management activities. Measure the process maturity: benchmark other companies/organizations and participate in professional/industry events; gather, analyze, and report metrics related to process effectiveness. Identify key stakeholders. Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications to them. Automate the daily operations task through developing programs and scheduling them for periodic intervals. Development of programs and scripts in Node.js/Angular/Java/Perl/Python. Supporting enhancements of tools used for daily operations and monitoring by programming for their continually evolving improvements. Generating various test cases for the developments and ensuring border cases are met. Deploying the code to production using the companywide standard tools.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience in software and applications development field.

Skills required: Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, including change strategy, stakeholder planning, communications and training. Experience with understanding client/server technologies, application management, and networking and security principles. Demonstrated knowledge of the change life cycle. Experience with supporting Change Management in Global Delivery context. Demonstrated knowledge of service management tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Seibel. Experience coding C++ and Java. Experience in backend development in Node.js and scripts in Shell Script, Perl, Python for automation of daily tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of Agile Methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
