About You
• A supply chain visionary that demonstrates an understanding of supply chain concepts in an online or retail environment
• Experience driving product vision and roadmaps with a track record of leading teams to deploy innovative solutions
• Excellent data analysis skills along with experience in Excel and SQL a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to champion products throughout the organization
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and tools
• Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and an ability to deal with ambiguity
• Attitude to thrive in a fun, fast-paced start-up like environment
• Uncompromising commitment to the customer
• An awesome analyst with high levels of creativity and quick solving capabilities

About Supply Chain Interns
Supply Chain Interns play a unique role in driving the future of the next generation supply chain. The interns focus on analytics, optimization and process improvements within the Walmart.com Supply Chain to meet customer service levels and business metrics for inventory management. The internship involves working on a 10-12 week summer project within the Supply Chain department and key responsibilities are to help meet targets for Sales, Profit, and Allocation. The interns are involved in managing inventory down to the item-facility level, requiring to work closely with our Network Strategy and Optimization Team to ensure items are stocked at optimal locations and quantities at the right times.

YOUR INTERN PROGRAM EXPERIENCE
Far beyond your specific assignment, the program immerses you in business, allows you to develop cutting edge technology, and shows off your socials skills, all in-between a lot of fun! Over the 10 to 12 week period you connect with executives, learn advanced skills, participate in HackDay, and network at social events. With the San Francisco Bay Area as your playground the opportunities both inside and outside of work are endless!

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Currently enrolled and pursuing an MBA or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
• Graduating between December 2018 and June 2019

Background and interest in e-commerce and/or supply chain
