What you'll do

Manages the daily operation of packaging production area by planning and establishing work schedules and assignments; monitoring and evaluating
all packaging related operations (for example, resin receiving, bottle making, bottle filling, bottle casing), programs, and processes practices for quality
and effectiveness; inspecting materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions; assisting in production sequence planning to meet
production goals and provide superior customer service; ensuring timely resolution of associate performance concerns; and completing and analyzing
departmental reports.
Manages the continuous improvement (Lean) culture by documenting and implementing new and improved processes; participating in new hire and
on-going associate training; and providing process improvement guidance in waste control, quality management, and process effectiveness.
Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring associates utilize proper safety equipment; maintaining work area (for example, floor free of debris,
equipment operational and clean, hazards removed); and addressing maintenance concerns timely.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders;
supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for
and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting
continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and
ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by
implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing
business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
2 years’ experience supervising within a related environment (for example, logistics / supply chain, dairy plant, food processing, manufacturing)
2 years’ experience in clerical related responsibilities (for example, filing, data entry) and computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets,
Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Visio)

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Quals
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Food Science or related field.
3 years' supervisory experience in a dairy plant, food processing or manufacturing environment.
3 years' packaging experience within a related environment (for example, dairy production, food processing, and manufacturing).
