What you'll do at

The Senior Manager, Content Technology is responsible for designing, implementing and managing custom content curation operations programs that are run internally and through outsourced vendors.

The Content Acquisition Group at Walmart is responsible for acquiring high-quality product content used for different applications throughout the entire omni-channel product lifecycle. High quality product content helps optimize assortment expansion, accelerate item setup, leverage advance technology like machine learning and data science, enable next-generation customer experiences in-store and online. 

Members of our team apply their holistic knowledge and experience in omni-channel retailing to acquire content from a variety of different sources including manufacturers & suppliers, catalog vendors, innovative technology enabled custom content generation and through efficient manual operations as well as collaborative partnerships with 3rd party vendors and partners.

Minimum Qualifications

-7 + years of experience in the content curation, studio related experience, program management, product management, business consulting or related field.
-Operations expert. Expertise in creating, designing and managing large operational organization.
-Experience working with multiple projects and programs
-Experience managing 3rd party vendors and partners
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Knowledge of current industry trends and products related to content development and studio management
-Ability to travel 20% of the time locally or internationally
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of retail/ecommerce industry
• Basic understanding of scripting languages, relational databases, XML, SQL, previous technical experience
• Managing outsourced operations 
• Business Development and Contract Negotiation experience a plus
• Advanced degree in engineering, science or math with an emphasis on data
