What you'll do

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer professional in our San Bruno, CA office.


Duties: Contribute to the design and implementation of high-performance products to ingest, model, analyze and manipulate massive amount of data. Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for applications, tools, databases, networks and operation systems. Through work, have a direct impact on optimizing inventory and the fulfilment network. Collaborate with other team members in the design and implementation of the solutions. Work closely with Product Managers, Quality Assurance, Documentation teams. Help the team leverage and contribute to open source technologies wherever possible. Be excited about making an immediate impact on a global scale.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3 years of software engineering experience or related experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 6 years of software engineering experience or related experience.

Skills required: C, C++, Java experience. Experience with designing and implementing Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms. Experience with UNIX and Linux systems programming, network programming, database systems, object oriented programming. Experience with webservices, SQL, TCP, UDP, IPv4, HTTP, IPv6. Distributed Computing experience. Multi-threaded programming experience. Experience with Network Diagnostic Tools like wireshark, Unix Shell. Experience with Distributed Caching. Experience with Agile Development methodology, Waterfall development methodology. JSON, XML experience. Computer performance analysis experience. Fault tolerance and recovery system experience. Experience with memory management and caching techniques, subversion, valgrind. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
