What you'll do

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.

Duties: Analyze, design and implement client/server or database server systems. Analyze processes and procedures, and identify and suggest improvements and innovations. Analyze, develop, implement and test extraction, transformation and load (ETL) processes against high volume data sources. Work with business requirements analysts to identify and understand business rules, data definitions, source system data models and information reporting requirements. Work on requirements analysis and designing of the data marts. Develop data flows and maintain databases, working with users for reporting issued and report and cube development. Work with users for smooth process of functional and technical requirements. Define and capture metadata and business rules associated with ETL processes. Map source system data to data warehouse models and maintain data conformity rules across data marts. Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems, performance requirements and data accuracy issues. Monitor daily ETL processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Work on CRM project, customer analytics, segmentation and campaign deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any) or related field and 5 years of experience performing data modeling.

Skills required: Teradata Database experience (v.14.10). Experience with Teradata Utilities (Multiload, Bteq, FastExport, FastLoad, SQL Assistant and Teradata Viewpoint). Hive Experience. Experience with Reporting tools. Structures Query Language experience (SQL). Experience with ETL and Scheduling tools. Oracle Database experience (v.11g). Unix Shell Scripting experience. Any amount of experience with the required skills is acceptable.
