What you'll do

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and monstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open
Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events. Drives the information content strategy, steward of individual access, and subject matter expertise for the Health and Wellness Division data by certifying the representation of internal production store level data to all Health and Wellness Departments; collaborating and directing all departments to define and implement data methodologies to satisfy business needs and requirements; supporting the development and enforcement of policies for effective data management; managing the evaluation of associates and granting permission for individual associate access to personal and sensitive information through various
databases; determining access justification in accordance with all internal standards and polices as well as external government HIPPA laws of privacy and confidentiality; establishing rules and procedures for data sharing with key stakeholders and senior leaders; collaborating with ISD to ensure the resolution of data inaccuracies, production errors and processing inconsistencies; and representing Walmart in depositions and other legal processes. Develop and implement Health and Wellness billing systems updates by determining needed system changes to the direct billing process to satisfy changing business needs or industry-mandated changes; collaborating with key stakeholders to define
and implement systematic changes to ensure compliance and execution by operations; serving as the representative to Information Systems Division (ISD) regarding billing and data strategies; ensuring implementation of process changes to drive efficiencies and accuracy in billing; and support the stores in insurance and prescriber related issues. Manages Walmart's Prescription data transmission interoperability in accordance with sanctioned and federally required industry standards, contractual, or legally mandated standards and practices by representing Walmart externally and internally as prescription billing and remittance subject matter expert; participating and influencing within industry organizations (for example, National Council for Prescription Drug Program (NCPDP), National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), Compliance work groups, Accredited Standards Committee X12); participating in the development and implementation of all prescription industry standards; collaborating with industry leaders and internal clinical departments; creating new strategic partnerships to enable growth and health innovations; collaborating with federal and state agencies to develop polices for healthcare related matters.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Informatics, or related field and 4 years experience in healthcare billing services, healthcare analytics, or related field OR 6 years experience in healthcare services, healthcare analytics, or related field.
3 years’ cross-functional leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's in Business Administration.
Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD).
Licensed Pharmacist.
4 years experience in customer insights.
2 years experience in merchandising.
2 years experience in third-party contracting or pharmacy benefit management.
