What you'll do

Digital Brand Manager, Private Brands develops and executes digital operating plan for Walmart Private Brands (, + Applicable ecommerce properties):

Aligns annual operating plan of brands with merchandise categories by leading the brand annual operating plan development; overseeing alignment
of budget and strategies with categories; and overseeing implementation of planning and process improvements.
Provides overall direction for the Private Brands product portfolio by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating,
building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business
plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results;
identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer-focused environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring
continuous learning.
Provides visibility to profit opportunities by leading efforts to increase profit dollars; championing Private Brands to merchant planning; and overseeing
private brand profit and loss (P&L).
Optimizes brand positioning within portfolio by analyzing unique brand ranges and positioning; analyzing marketing opportunities; recommending
modifications to brand positioning; recommending additional brands; and recommending deletion and phase out of existing brands.
Oversees Walmart supplier annual operating fund by designing supplier development program and budget which support brand growth and success;
implementing necessary transparency, accounting and governance; presenting new concepts, building support and soliciting feedback within
Walmart; soliciting supplier feedback about the development program efficiencies; and carrying out necessary improvements to the development
Develops overall Private Brand performance metrics based on strategic direction by mapping key performance indicators to strategies supported;
designing computer systems and creating data sources to measure Private Brand performance; and soliciting feedback on the effectiveness of
metrics in monitoring brand performance and improving the metrics as necessary.
Identifies cross category opportunities for Private Brands by analyzing Private Brand industry; analyzing internal strengths and capabilities; screening
and prioritizing ideas and opportunities for Private Brand projects; quantifying costs and benefits of ideas and opportunities for brand management;
and presenting costs and benefits of ideas and opportunities for inclusion in brand planning and development.
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting,
selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and
existing talent.
Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all
programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading
key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate
business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.

Minimum Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in technology, ecommerce, and/or retail
- Must feel extremely comfortable managing multiple cross functional programs simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to persuade, communicate vision and motivate people at every level, cooperative working style
- Good project management skills
- Detail-oriented and strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in planning and execution of large scale omni-channel retail programs
- MBA preferred
