What you'll do

• Conducts and leads strategic planning initiatives to identify, prioritize, gain consensus, and establish accountability for projects.
• Manages multiple highly complex eCommerce platform projects (e.g. system migrations and integrations) or supply chain strategy projects (e.g. opening a new distribution center).
• Leads the development and maintenance of supply chain project management methodology, including playbooks/processes, templates, and tools, and ensures that each project consistently complies with project management methodology as well as industry best practices.
• Collaborates effectively with business owners in providing executive-level updates on project status, risks, and issues using Confluence and other tools on behalf of the project teams. Ensures that the content and format meets the high standards and tone appropriate for executives.
• Provides consultation, support, and coaching to business owners/project managers in the effective management of projects based on project management methodologies and industry best practices.
• Collaborates with project teams to maintain and store meticulous records of project artifacts, issues, risks, decisions, schedules, etc.
• Identifies, evaluates, recommends, documents, and communicates best practices and operating models for each project. This requires an ability to analyze the “as is” state, identify best practices and recommend the ideal “to be” state for the project.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of progressively more responsible experience in program/project management, business operations, and/or related functions.
• Proven experience leading and managing complex, cross-organizational projects is critical, preferably in a supply chain/operations environment.
• BA/BS degree is required with preference for degrees in Operations/Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or related fields. MS/MBA is a plus.
• Highly skilled in the creation of presentations, new reporting mechanisms, and other documents.
• High level of attention to detail, including the ability to assess, and synthesize large amounts of content and data related to project status, issues, risks, dependencies, and schedules and distill them in crisp, clear language appropriate for a variety of audiences including business executives.
• Highly developed analytical, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles.
• Excellent verbal communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in and influence change at all levels.
• An ability to influence without direct authority, as well as applying an appropriate level of assertiveness, is critical.
• Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and project management tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and SharePoint) required.
