What you'll do

Position: Analyst III, Business Intelligence and Reporting
Job Location: Bentonville, AR
Duties: Develops complex business intelligence and reporting solutions by identifying business requirements; researching potential solutions; making recommendations to meet end user business objectives; conducting analysis and design; creating visual prototypes and design documentation; writing detailed dashboard and reporting specifications; and creating reports and visualization of information to effectively communication results. Leads projects to completion by working with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project strategy and results; assisting in the resolution of team conflicts; developing written and oral presentations for diverse audiences (for example, management, customers, suppliers, business intelligence and analytics staff); teaching reporting technologies through informal and formal mentorship both inside and outside the team; providing subject matter expertise for reporting projects; driving projects to completion; and communicating project results and updates to senior leadership. Develops business intelligence solution roadmaps by gathering required information; working with subject matter experts in appropriate business areas; documenting and revising processes to collect, analyze, compile and submit reportable information to federal, state and local government agencies; collaborating with data experts and other business intelligence and analytics experts; coordinating the evaluation of customer and supplier solutions; and presenting application solutions to diverse audiences (for example, analytics associates, business customers). Develops business intelligence solutions with customers and other system areas by ensuring testing and validation; overseeing upgrades and release schedules for business intelligence and database products; managing production of scheduled regulatory reports; ensuring requirements are met to support implementations; managing compliance reporting database to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data; ensuring development of system documentation; developing materials for state of the art user interfaces that enable the business users to interpret trends and exceptions; and reviewing change implementation before and after production installations.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years experience in an analytical role. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years experience, employer will accept 4 years in an analytical role.

Skills required: Must have experience with: conducting descriptive and predictive modeling and analysis; performing quality assurance testing; developing reports; data collection with international markets; Big Data; descriptive statistics, including mean, standard deviation, regression, hypothesis and testing; inferential statistics, including time series, correlation, association, and clustering; SQL Server; Alteryx; Tableau; and project management in matrix organization.
