What you'll do

Position: Senior Consultant I
Job Location: Bentonville, AR
Duties: Leads large and/or global projects by determining proper procedures and guidelines for advising on, executing, and documenting organizational practices across multiple countries; understanding the global trends that affect the business; demonstrating and communicating working knowledge of industry best practices and Walmart policies and procedures in business area of expertise; and anticipating issues of concern and being proactive in recommending sustainable solutions in area of expertise. Drives change across multiple business areas by developing assessments of key opportunities; developing plans and project timelines; communicating with and influencing shared services business partners and decision-makers within the organization; and providing specialized consulting throughout the life cycle of change initiatives. Supports strategies, processes, and best practices by conducting modeling and statistical analyses; partnering with cross-functional teams across the business; benchmarking with industry experts through continuous education and use of networks; developing assessments of key opportunities; supporting the development of long-term plans and project timelines; and communicating with and influencing decision-makers and executives within the organization. Analyzes and interprets integrated information by using various advanced analytical methodologies; interpreting patterns and trends; developing creative solutions across business areas that reduce costs and meet business goals; exercising judgment to assign activities; and ensuring data accuracy. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Human Resources, Engineering (Any), Supply Chain, or related field and 3 years experience in consulting, project management, or related field. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years experience, the employer will accept 5 years experience in consulting, project management, or related field.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Atlassian Product Suite, including JIRA and Confluence; Web Design; wire framing and process mapping for user experience design; analyzing, synthesizing and mapping industry trends; quantitative analysis and advanced statistical modeling to improve process design; Adobe Photoshop and Fireworks to create PNG graphics; and managing, updating, and improving Knowledge Management platforms.
