What you'll do

Implements standards to control project timeline and integration by following project objectives (for example, scope, schedule); setting performance requirements for internal and external project participants; monitoring performance of external consultants, making recommended changes to standard processes to improve project delivery; and ensuring execution of standards by internal and external participants.

Manages approvals from executive leadership for spending or timeline overages; approving and tracking consultant spending throughout the project lifecycle; monitoring other functions' project capital spending; and reporting project status to executive leadership.

Leads a large portfolio of projects by defining the scope and objectives of the project; working with stakeholders to identify goals, success criteria, assumptions, risks, and known issues with the project; coordinating planning activities (for example, business requirements, risk assessment, target date) and assembling management plans; ensuring tasks are executed as defined in the schedule in order to achieve goals; managing changes (for example, scope, schedule) to the plans; and ensuring adherence to established fuel and construction procedures.

Reporting on project portfolio performance by monitoring and reporting projected openings against actual openings and submitting 60, 30, and 7 day risk to opening report.

Manages the execution of less complex special projects and special requests by determining the need and the scope of the work; prioritizing the scope of work while factoring in the return on investment; ensuring project is completed on time; providing informational presentations; managing stakeholder expectations; and holding self and project team accountable for project delivery.

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices

$28.85 per hour

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Commercial Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field and 1 year experience in real
estate development, engineering or architectural design, construction management, project management, or related field OR 3 years experience in
fuel station construction, real estate development, engineering or architectural design, construction management, project management, or related
field.
- 1 year experience managing project budgets.
- 1 year experience using basic functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
